The bahamians children go to school.They have primary,extension primary,secondly system,which contributes to its literacy.Their ages are 5 to 14.Students seeking higher education generally attend the College of the Bahamas New Providence or the university of the university of the west cindies in Jamacia. There are 158 of the 210 primary and secondary schools in the bahamas and the restare 52 privately operated.
